Bahama Beach Waterpark lifeguards began another lifeguard competition year at the 32nd Annual Texas Superguard Competition. 24 lifeguard teams participated at the event in College Station, Texas, on July 7th 2014.
We are extremely proud of how all our lifeguards performed at the competition this year. The lifeguards practice daily outside the scope of work, and the competition helps by building confidence and technical skills. The guards devote additional time required for these competitions, which also demonstrates their dedication to the safety and well-being of our guest at the park. Bahama Beach lifeguards placed in the top 10 at the competition this year against guards from across the state of Texas.
